Along with the improvement of the skin’s lipid barrier comes an improvement in cell differentiation which contributes to better synthesis and formation of collagen and elastin., Hyaluronic Acid- Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, recognized as one of the most effective hydrating ingredients in a skincare routine, hyaluronic acid is essential in maintaining skin’s moisture levels. In addition to providing surface hydration, high levels of hyaluronic acid are correlated with an improved appearance in skin firmness, smoothness, and plumpness.
Alpha Lipoic Acid-When incorporated into a eye cream formulated for the delicate, thin-skinned eye area, studies show a significant decrease in under eye circles, loss of firmness and puffiness. Alpha lipoic acid can also help reduce swelling and puffiness & redness in the face. Its anti-inflammatory effects help reduce redness and blotchiness, resulting in a more even out of skin tone and texture.
